Our Story

How It All Began

LoveUnlimited Ministries is a charismatic Christian organisation based in the Netherlands, founded in 2006 by Robin Prijs with a clear purpose: to spread the Word of God. Our heart has always been to help people discover the truth of Scripture, grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ and experience the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in their own lives.

In 2009, a good friend entrusted us with a small online shop selling anointing oil. We continued building and expanding this shop in the Netherlands under the simple name De Zalfolie Winkel (The Anointing Oil Shop). At the time, we already knew that the biblical use of anointing oil carried a special spiritual significance, but even we had not yet discovered the fullness of what God had placed in His Word concerning the anointing. What began as a small webshop would eventually become the starting point of a much greater mission.

When God Revealed There Was More

In 2015, Robin received an instruction from the Lord to begin a deeper study into the biblical meaning and purpose of the anointing. There was more to discover. And when God says there is more, He also leads us to find what that more is.

What followed was an intensive six-month study of Scripture, bringing together 345 biblical references and revealing a far greater picture of the anointing than we had ever understood before. The study eventually resulted in the book The Anointed Bride (De Gezalfde Bruid), which is now available in Dutch, English and German. But the impact went far beyond the publication of a book. What God revealed through His Word fundamentally changed the direction and purpose of our ministry. We began to understand that making anointing oil available was only part of what we were called to do. There was something much greater that needed to be restored.

What Was Taken From the Church

One of the most important discoveries during this study was how much had been taken away from ordinary believers throughout the centuries. Three essential biblical practices, originally intended to have a place in the personal lives of Christians, had gradually been removed from their hands and brought under the exclusive control of religious authorities.

The first was the personal celebration of Holy Communion. What Jesus had given to His followers became increasingly restricted and controlled by the institutional church. The second was personal access to the Word of God. For centuries, Scripture was proclaimed and read in Latin, leaving ordinary believers dependent on church authorities for their understanding of God's Word. The third was the personal use of anointing oil. This biblical practice was also taken away from believers and reserved for church leaders and specific religious ceremonies.

We believe it is no coincidence that this period of increasing religious control also marked an enormous decline in the spiritual power of the Church. As authority became concentrated in the hands of religious leaders, the personal freedom of believers to live and act upon the Word of God was increasingly restricted. The Holy Spirit was no longer welcome to move freely within the Church. Human authority, religious structures and institutional control had taken the place of something God had intended to be living, personal and powerful.

This discovery became a defining moment for LoveUnlimited Ministries. We realised that our mission could never be limited to selling anointing oil. We wanted to help restore what had been stolen from the Church and encourage believers to rediscover what God had already made available to them through Jesus Christ.

Our Mission: Restoring What Was Lost

Today, this restoration is at the heart of everything we do. We want to help believers rediscover the personal celebration of Holy Communion, the authority and power of God's Word in their daily lives, and the biblical practice of anointing with oil. Not as empty religious traditions or rituals, but as expressions of a living faith, rooted in Scripture and centred entirely on Jesus Christ.

Anointing oil holds a special place within this mission. We believe that anointing with oil is a visible act of faith and a point of contact through which we express our trust in God and welcome the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The oil itself is not the source of power; God is. The significance of anointing is found in what He has revealed through His Word and in the work of His Spirit. This is why we believe it is so important not only to make anointing oil available, but also to teach believers about its biblical meaning, purpose and application.

Through our books, biblical teaching and the continued development of our anointing oil shop, we seek to make this knowledge and these resources available to an ever-growing number of Christians. What began in the Netherlands as De Zalfolie Winkel is now expanding through House of Anointing, allowing us to serve believers across Europe and beyond. Our ambition to grow is inseparable from our desire to reach more people with the biblical message behind what we offer.

The Ministry Behind House of Anointing

House of Anointing is an initiative of LoveUnlimited Ministries, a Dutch foundation with its roots firmly established in the Christian faith. Our founder, Robin Prijs, is also the operational leader of Derek Prince Ministries Netherlands and leads Herstelteam Nederland (Restoration Team Netherlands). In addition, he is a radio host at GOD Radio, a national Christian broadcaster in the Netherlands. His involvement in these ministries reflects the same passion that has shaped LoveUnlimited Ministries since its beginning: spreading God's Word, equipping believers and seeing lives restored through the power of Jesus Christ.

Although our activities have grown and our reach continues to expand, the purpose behind our work remains unchanged. We are a Christian ministry first and foremost. Our webshop is one of the ways in which we fulfil that calling, providing both the practical resources and the biblical understanding that we believe belong together.

Our Heart for the Church

Our deepest desire is to see the Church restored to the fullness of what God intended her to be. A Church in which believers know the Word of God for themselves, understand what Jesus Christ has accomplished for them, and are free to welcome and experience the work of the Holy Spirit in every area of their lives. We want to see the things that were taken away from believers restored to their rightful place, so that faith is no longer confined to religious institutions, traditions or the authority of a select few.

Above all, it is our mission and our prayer that the Holy Spirit will once again be welcomed throughout the Church to do whatever He wants, however He wants, and through whomever He wants. Without human restrictions, without religious control and without placing limits on what God desires to do among His people.

That is why we do what we do. It is why we teach, why we write and why we continue to make anointing oil available to believers. Not simply because we want to build a successful international shop, but because we believe God has called us to take part in restoring something precious to His Church.
